Sheba (left) and Samson (right) are brother and sister. As you can see, Samson loves to sit in the warm sun during the summer months. On every visit, he would greet me by rolling around the floor, begging to get rubbed. Sheba was the shy one of the two, but ended up coming out for love after a few visits……and after she discovered I was the food guy.

 

 

 

 

Dagney...
Dagney is a large dog in a small body. On every walk she swears she could take on anyone or anything in her way. But don't let that fool you, she is a sweetie at heart and loves to kiss you if she gets a chance.

 

 

Sterling (and Dagney)...
...was rescued from a puppy mill and carries some emotional scars with her. If Sterling trusts you enough to come up to you for some love, you feel you have really earned something. She really loves her walk, even though she needs to be encouraged to keep going when she gets scared. She surprises you sometimes by being in the midst of all the other dogs while they're playing and wrestling and she'll be barking at them like she's Mother Hen. She's a beautiful girl with gorgeous long eyelashes and eyes that are full of expression.

 

 

 

Shadow (and Willie)...
...couldn't be more affectionate, when we come to visit she gently paws at you to get some love and remind you that she really loves her walk and shouldn't we be going soon. She usually doesn't have a problem with any other dog, she just enjoys her life. And it's a good life at that. Her mom adores all her dogs and treats each of them individually.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Willie...
...is a very excited guy. He likes to play and jump and bite at leashes and aggravate the other dogs at times, but no one can stay mad at him long, because he really just wants to play. He is truly a goofball and a joy to be around. He likes nothing better on a walk than to scout out the most tantalizing pieces of poop to eat. We have to continually help him with this and remind him - "No poop for you!". He has kept up an amazing attitude throughout many medical tests and procedures since he suffers from several allergies among other health problems. His mom calls him "Mr. Two O'Clock", see if you can guess why.
